The Spirit Behind Emyoli Technology

Hello everybody! I wanted to take a moment to do something I haven’t gotten around to yet. Namely, introduce the blog; and myself while we’re at it. Whether you’ve been reading the blog for a while, or this is your first time here, I thought I’d take a moment to introduce myself, and explain why I wanted to start this blog in the first place, and what I hope you can get out of it.

So, about me. My name is Evi Rachmilewitz, and I own a software development agency, founded back in 2011. It was a long road to get to that point, and it’s been a constant challenge to not just keep the business running, but to find and sustain our success. A lot of businesses fail in their first few years, and plenty of people said that we’d never make it, that I was crazy for chasing this dream, and that I should probably just give up

I didn’t give up.

And we’re still here, going strong.

In my 20 years of industry experience, I’ve seen a lot, from a lot of different angles. And I want to share the insights I’ve gathered over my two decades in the business. I wanted people to learn from my successes. And if they could learn from my mistakes — avoiding them entirely — even better.. There’s so much that I wish I’d known back when I was first starting out, so much that I wish that someone had explained to me. So I decided to start this blog, to try and be that person

In this blog, I’ll be covering different aspects of the realm of software engineering. I’ll be writing about apps, software platforms, working with remote teams, that sort of thing. Each blog post will look at these issues from a different angle; I don’t want to waste your time with articles you’ve already seen or heard a dozen times, so I’m putting in the effort to create original content that not only enriches your understanding of software engineering, but that’s intriguing and appealing to engage with

Having said that, I don’t ever want to be a nuisance. I know what it’s like to be bombarded with hundreds of unwanted emails, and I promise you, I don’t ever want to be someone who does that to you! I keep these emails to about once or twice a month, usually around two weeks apart from each other.
