Introduction
Emyoli Technologies embarked on an exciting collaboration with Faurecia, a conglomerate tech company with an impressive annual sales record of over 20 billion Euros. Faurecia urgently required a groundbreaking project to be showcased at the prestigious Las Vegas Tech Conference (CES Las Vegas). To find the ideal partner, Faurecia ran a competitive bid, and Emyoli Technologies emerged victorious, chosen to implement the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for the CES conference. Beyond the initial phase, Emyoli continued to develop and enhance the platform, making it stable and ready for deployment to their first clients. The platform’s eventual migration back to Faurecia’s internal development teams was executed seamlessly by Emyoli.
Description
The Clean Driving System, developed by Emyoli for Faurecia, is an innovative solution that collects various data points from vehicles, captured via unique Faurecia sensors. These data points include emissions levels, ignition intensity, braking patterns, wheel curvatures, and more. Utilizing Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology and WiFi/4G, the data is transmitted to a cloud repository hosted on Microsoft Azure. Subsequently, the data is stored in large MSSql databases, with a filtering and ordering layer extracting valuable insights presented through charts, tables, and graphs on a desktop web browser. Emyoli single-handedly developed the entire end-to-end solution for Faurecia, adhering to record timeframes and high-quality standards.
Technical Challenges
Absorbing Massive Data Points: Handling and processing the enormous influx of data points from a multitude of cars required robust systems and efficient data management techniques.
Data Security: Ensuring the utmost security of the data both at rest and in transit was a paramount concern, and Emyoli implemented rigorous security measures.
Optimal Data Storage: Storing the data efficiently without compromising performance or scalability posed a significant technical challenge.
